Job Title: Senior Brand Partnership Sales Executive

Department: Brand Partnerships

Reports to: Brand Partnerships Sales Manager

Direct Line Reports: None

Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week in office and 3 days a week from home. Our office is based at: Fora, 33 Broadwick Street, Soho, London W1F 0DQ

Type: Fulltime. Standard company working hours are 09.30 to 17.30, flexibility and non-standard hours are required during events

ABOUT THE ROLE

BFC Brand Partnerships Sales team are responsible for creating new partnerships to support BFC’s key events(LFW, The Fashion Awards) and BFC Initiatives. The team are responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships across all brand categories providing best in class creative partnership opportunities to meet both brand and BFC commercial objectives, while upholding a strong pipeline of new business leads and converting sales.

THE ROLE

Responsibilities

Company

  • Support the Sales Manager on implementing the sales strategy
  • Responsible for weekly reporting to C-suite on category updates
  • Responsible for the management of key sales categories, with support from Sales Manager to manage risk
  • To work with wider BFC teams when creating partnership proposals to ensure internal buy-in from Events / Communications & PR / Marketing and Designer Relations, with support from Sales Manager when escalation required
  • Work closely with Sales Manager and Account Management team to develop relevant and appropriate partnerships as well as involving the team in relevant stages of proposal
  • To approve full partnership with Sales Manager as well as relevant internal teams, and ensure a successful transition through contract to delivery
  • To step in to support Account Management when necessary, with support from Sales Manager, to manage challenges and up-sell identified opportunities
  • Responsible for processing the sales expenditure budget lines – overseen by Sales Manager and Head of Partnerships
  • Responsible for processing legal invoices
  • Management of expenditure budgets
  • And any other duties that your Manager/Senior Member of the team deems relevant

Presales

  • To create and manage an exhaustive pipeline across all BFC events and initiatives - accountable for own categories supported by Sales Manager
  • Actively outreach to prospective clients and manage all in-bound queries – feeding through to Sales Manager where relevant based on seniority
  • To report risk to Sales Manager on own categories
  • Responsible for updating generic pitch and sales decks, proposals and contracts - in line with BFC guidelines
  • To manage new partner ticketing allocations for BFC events
  • Take ownership of assigned BFC events on behalf of sales team, and provide new business updates on corresponding internal calls

Sales

  • Experience in developing creative concepts and proposals
  • Experience with developing partnership and production budgets
  • With support from Sales Manager, Senior Sales Exec will put together high-quality pitches to answer client requirements and briefs
  • Experience in contributing to external pitch meetings
  • Ideate from proposal stage, with support from Sales Manager and Head of Partnerships at contracting stage

Campaigns

  • Working with Account Management to identify up-sell opportunities and pitch to existing clients, specific to the categories you own

Post campaign

  • Prepping for and attending review meetings, supporting Account Management in re-signing existing clients for categories you own

Key relationships

  • External - commercial brand partners and agencies
  • Internal - events, communications, designer relations, finance, education and Government teams.

Professional Experience & Skills

  • Sales experience in a partnerships role - Minimum of 2 years
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Industry knowledge of international & British brands, and their positioning in the market
