About the role: Primary Purpose:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the development of proteomics and RNA-based assays to support a precision medicine program for rare neurological diseases under broad direction from Prof. Petrou. The applicant will have strong problem-solving skills and expertise to oversee workflows for a research team and take leadership over outputs to meet objectives and milestones. The applicant will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to proficiently and confidently share key findings with internal and external stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise.

This position is a fixed term, full-time with a contract ending on 30 September 2025. The role attracts an annual salary offer ranging from Senior Research Fellow (SRF1) $126,903 to Senior Research Fellow (SRF1) $146,328, commensurate with experience.
