Senior Azure Architect – SC / NPPV3

Duration: 6 Months

Position: Senior Azure Architect

Location: Hybrid

Job Type: Contract

Rate: £700 - £800 per day DOE

Status: Inside IR35

Clearance: Eligible for SC and NPPV3

Summary:

My market leading consultancy client is looking to secure the services of a contract-based Azure Architect to assist with a critical project scoping over the coming months. Ideally coming from a strong consultancy background with good knowledge of working in secure environments, consultants will need to be available to start within a few weeks.

The project will focus on a large-scale VMWare to Azure Migration. The successful consultant will need to lead the design, planning, and execution of the Cloud strategy. Any existing SC or NPPV3 clearance would be a big advantage.

Key Skills:

1. Assess existing VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi configurations, particularly in relation to the use of GPU’s.
2. Analyse existing SAN storage and design target Azure-based storage, considering storage tiering.
3. Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, and Azure Networking.
4. Hands-on experience with VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter).
5. Familiarity with hybrid cloud solutions and extending on-premises VMware environments to Azure.
