Qualifications

Senior Audit Manager - Surrey

I am currently working with one of the leading firms in Surrey who are looking to hire a Senior Audit Manager.
You will be given your own portfolio of clients which range from SMEs to complex groups and contain some very high profile and exciting names.

Clients range from start-up and entrepreneurial companies to established groups. Sectors include retail brand, property development, technology, financial services and NFP. The firm's approach is to provide a high-quality service and proactive advice to clients.


Duties
For this role you will be working closely with the Corporate Directors and Partners. Duties for this role include;

  • Exposure to the owners and/or the directors of the clients
  • Liaising closely with partners on the clients' affairs from an audit and commercial perspective
  • Accountancy and commercial management support to clients
  • Audit risk assessment and planning
  • Effective delivery of financial statements that meet relevant statutory reporting requirements
  • Ad hoc projects such as due diligence, investigations and valuations
  • Continue to improve processes
  • Lead and develop junior staff
  • Involvement in proposals for new work and BD initiatives

This role will not just be a statutory audit compliance role and there will be great scope for you to broaden your work and skills in other areas such as due diligence, accountancy support and other commercial advisory assignments.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience managing an audit portfolio
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 & IFRS
  • Right to work in the UK
