Job description

Exact Sourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior AV Technician required for our client based in South Cambridge.

As a Senior AV Technician, you will be responsible for:

1. On-site support for projects of all sizes - including the technical rig, client liaison, rehearsals, show operation etc.
2. Dealing directly with the Client and being a central point of contact.
3. Preparation of equipment prior to despatch.
4. Assist in planning and pre-event testing (where required) of full AV systems.
5. Delivery and collection of equipment.
6. Dealing with customers on collections and returns.
7. Checking of equipment on return from rental - quickly and effectively.
8. Assisting with Management of rental stock.
9. Reporting missing items, late returns and damages.
10. Identifying equipment shortages and reporting to the warehouse manager.
11. Printing of rental paperwork, and following rental procedures.
12. Loading and Unloading of vehicles.
13. Simple maintenance and servicing of company equipment.
14. Covering quick turnarounds - evenings and weekends as and when required.
15. Working with Hire Manager to ensure all kit quantities are kept up to date, and new equipment is correctly logged on to the system.

To be successful in the role of Senior AV Technician, you will have:

1. Good knowledge of audio visual equipment operation.
2. A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in the AV industry, working in live events.
3. Be highly motivated and a good communicator.
4. Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
5. Hold a full UK driving license.
