Job Description:

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading property consultancies. Based in central London, our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with at least three years of experience to join their Cost Consultancy team.

In this role, you will work on new builds and refurbishment projects, typically valued between £500,000 and £30 million. This is an exciting and varied role whereby you can expect to work on projects in many sectors including industrial, retail, residential, and more.

This client-facing role offers strong potential for career advancement, facilitating growth in both skills and responsibilities as you progress within the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing cost plans and order of costs.
  • Carrying out tender analysis and preparing tender reports.
  • Preparing interim valuations and financial reports.
  • Agreeing variations and final accounts.
  • Preparing and coordinating tender packs and managing the tendering process.
  • Attending site and design team meetings.

About you:

  • Candidates should have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or commercial management.
  • MRICS would also be desirable but is not essential as long as you are currently working towards your APC.
  • Working knowledge of JCT contracts.
  • BIM measurement using CostX would be ideal; however, training will be provided.
  • Full UK driving license.
