Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced professional to join their growing team in Glasgow at Senior/Associate QS level. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a growing and ambitious team, delivering high-profile Hotel, Student Accommodation, Build-to-Rent (BTR), Museum, Leisure and Residential projects across the UK.

The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in providing expert cost management and procurement advice, ensuring successful project outcomes for a diverse client base. From early-stage feasibility and cost planning to contract administration and final account settlement, you will be integral to the smooth delivery of projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading the cost management of projects across a variety of sectors
2. Providing strategic procurement and commercial advice to clients
3. Preparing detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender documents
4. Managing contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to schedule
5. Mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing to their professional growth
6. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

About You:

1. Chartered (MRICS) or working towards full chartered status
2. Proven experience within a UK consultancy environment, working within the property sector is Essential
3. Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement strategies and contract administration
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
5. A proactive and ambitious approach to career development
