An excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and ambitious senior solicitor to join this Education team

Senior Associate / Legal Director - Employment (Education) - Cambridge or Northampton with Hybrid working

Client

A full-service firm, highly acclaimed as a leader across several practices and have grown exponentially over the last few years, with several offices across England and Wales.

Role

  • Working on a broad range of educational matters, you will lead on the work we do with academies, including advising on academy conversions and MAT expansions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and schools to provide pragmatic legal advice.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on employment law issues specifically affecting the Education sector, working collaboratively with colleagues across the team to share knowledge.
  • Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

You

  • 6+ years or more PQE.
  • A solid grounding in education work, and working with academies.
  • An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships.
  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills.
  • Have strong commercial acumen.
