Conekt Legal are working exclusively with this leading global law firm to recruit a senior associate/legal director into their leading real estate practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team in a senior role where you will work closely alongside a well-known Partner and work on a broad range of high value and interesting real estate transactions with an impressive client base. This role can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role would suit an experienced real estate solicitor with 7+ years PQE who has experience working for a large commercial law firm.

The Role

The Senior Associate/Legal Director will lead on client relationships, large and complex deals, and manage junior lawyers within the team. You will lead on a broad range of transactions, including estate management, acquisitions and disposals, development and regeneration, leasing, and real estate finance.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor – Scotland and/or England & Wales
• 7+ years PQE gained working within the real estate practice of a leading commercial firm
• Demonstrable experience of working on complex and high-value real estate transactions
• Exceptional client development and relationship-building skills
• Technically exceptional with a track record of providing commercially sound solutions for clients
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in mentoring and developing junior lawyers
