Are you a highly organised professional seeking to advance your career in higher education administration? Are you skilled at managing complex processes and providing exceptional support to students and academics? If so, Signature Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Assessment Administrator to join a prestigious London university. This temporary assignment has an immediate start, for two months, offering the benefit of a hybrid working model.

As a Senior Assessment Administrator, you will be providing essential assistance to students, academics and other stakeholders. You will largely work within the Assessment process including data entry and checking data across systems. In addition, you will be responsible for inbox management, monitoring student queries including triaging when necessary and other various ad-hoc duties.

Senior Assessment Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating inbox management of day-to-day staff and student enquiries actioning, triaging and signposting as necessary
  • Organising Assessments including exam preparation, marking management and overseeing The Assessment Sub-Board process
  • Contributing to the production of the teaching timetable with Timetabling Services and coordinating programme, module and credit checks across all cohorts
  • Ensuring quality assurance across all processes and student records
  • Servicing meetings and committees as necessary
  • Undertaking ad-hoc administrative duties as required in order to assist the team and wider university

Senior Assessment Administrator Key Skills:

  • Experience in a Higher Education setting with excellent administration, organisational, supervisory and leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. This includes the ability to work professionally with a range of stakeholders, including senior members of the team
  • Highly Proficient in IT – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook and associated platforms like SharePoint as well as experience in the use of databases and student records systems
  • The ability to multitask whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail and accuracy with good data entry and analytics
