Senior Architectural Technologist

A well-established Architectural and Project Management Consultancy with a strong focus on industrial and commercial projects is looking to expand its team with an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to take a leading role in project delivery.

An experienced Senior Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience is required to manage projects through all RIBA stages, from initial client briefing to completion. The successful candidate will be confident in client engagement, developing feasibility schemes, and ensuring smooth project progression. Our client works on a variety of Commercial and Industrial projects from around £2m up to £30m. They are a Revit using Consultancy, so experience with the software would be highly advantageous.

Senior Architectural Technologist Job Overview

1. Lead projects independently across all RIBA stages, ensuring successful delivery within time and budget constraints.
2. Engage directly with clients from day one, taking briefs and translating them into workable design solutions.
3. Develop feasibility schemes (with Architect input) and refine architectural designs.
4. Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations.
5. Use Revit for design and documentation.
6. Act as Principal Designer where required.
7. Prepare and submit planning applications and liaise with Building Control to secure approvals.

Senior Architectural Technologist Job Requirements

1. Prior experience working on Commercial or Industrial schemes.
2. Exposure across all RIBA Stages.
3. Able to run projects.
4. Good problem solving and communication skills.
5. 5 years + experience as a Technologist or Senior.
6. Live within a commutable distance of Stamford.

Senior Architectural Technologist Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
