Architectural Technologist
Location: Northampton
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 38.75 per week, with flexible start and finish times.
A well-established, award-winning architectural practice is looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its head office in the Midlands. Role & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Producing detailed working drawing packages.
- Contributing to planning applications and other regulatory submissions.
- Leading the detailed design process and coordinating design information.
- Liaising with relevant authorities, including planning and building control.
- Conducting design-stage risk assessments.
- Administering contracts and project certifications.
- Assessing building performance and producing maintenance management information.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc Hons, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology.
- Membership of CIAT or an equivalent professional body.
- Minimum of 5 years' industry experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Revit and BIM is highly desirable.
- Experience with Cobie data is an advantage.
- In-depth understanding of detailing and Building Regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with NBS specifications.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and design.
