My client is a growing contractor building stylish homes across the North West. Due to several new developments starting in the region, they have an opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join their Design & Technical team.

The company specializes in a mix of housing and apartment schemes across the Greater Manchester region, offering a range of house types.

Senior Architectural Technician Role

Working closely with the Head of Design, your duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Designing and producing working drawings for residential developments, including a wide range of house types, low-rise apartments, and high-rise apartments.
2. Working alongside the Designer and assisting in the production of the planning drawing packages.
3. Attending site meetings and supporting site staff with any technical queries.
4. Assisting in the management and satisfying regulatory bodies such as Planning and Building Control.

Senior Architectural Technician Skills and Experience Required:

1. Minimum HNC in Construction (or similar).
2. Minimum 5 years experience.
3. Strong understanding of buildings and construction.
4. Previous experience working on housing developments (UK-based experience essential).
5. Creativity and design.
6. Good drawing skills.
7. Strong visualization.
8. Practical problem-solving.
9. Team player.
