Job description

Our client, an Architectural practice with a reputation for delivering successful projects within the Residential sector, is currently seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to be based in their Leicester office. The successful Senior Architectural Technician will be responsible for drawing detailed technical designs on a variety of exciting projects within the Residential sector. Their next recruit will be working closely alongside leading House Builders in delivering high-quality designs, along with presenting ideas to the team. These schemes vary in size and can be anything from 50 units up to large-scale developments of 4000. Our client works across all RIBA Stages but emphasizes Stage 4 drawings.

The practice prides itself on working in an enjoyable environment with an excellent work ethic, so this individual is going to need to be passionate and show a determination to develop within this progressive and successful business. Software requirements include AutoCAD, which the practice uses day-to-day.

Senior Architectural Technician Job Overview

Senior Architectural Technician Job Requirements

1. Live within a commutable distance of Leicester
2. Good knowledge of AutoCAD
3. Able to help lead a team of Junior Technicians
4. Experience working on housing schemes
5. Strong technical ability
6. Good knowledge of building regulations
7. Knowledge of M4(2) and M4(3) regulations
8. Ability to work well within a technical team
