I currently have the pleasure of working with an award-winning, design-led Architectural practice who are looking for a Senior Architect or Technologist to join their team in central Leeds and play a key role in their Retail Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and work on multiple high-profile projects, driving innovation and excellence across the sector. You'll work closely with our Retail Sector Lead, overseeing project delivery through all RIBA Stages, ensuring technical excellence while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Your Role

You'll be at the heart of the Retail Team, collaborating with a dynamic group of professionals on a range of projects across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading projects and working collaboratively to deliver outstanding results for clients.
2. Engaging in project reviews and coordination workshops.
3. Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard software.
4. Conducting site visits and surveys to gather key project insights.
5. Ensuring compliance with building regulations, zoning laws, and industry standards.
6. Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to drive project success.
7. Providing technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
8. Staying ahead of industry trends, sustainable design principles, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

1. Qualified Architect/Technologist with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other key design software.
3. Strong technical knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and building systems.
4. Prior experience with Retail sector projects.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for precision.
7. A proven ability to manage and successfully deliver projects.
8. Full clean Driving licence.
