About the job:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of data and AI solutions tailored to the unique needs of our financial services clients. As an Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive Data and Gen AI workflows that enhance our clients' operational capabilities and drive business success. In this role, you will interact with Clients, Business Analysts, and Engineers, performing the crucial task of analysing and validating business requirements and translating them into detailed data and analytics solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies, notably Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Architect, develop and implement complex software solutions leveraging data and GenAI capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the financial services industry to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.

About you:

  • Ideally, you have a minimum of 2 years work experience delivering technology projects within start-ups, financial institutions or enterprise firms.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
  • You are comfortable acting as a leader, able to take decisions and iterate rapidly.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex technical challenges.
  • You have strong product intuition and understanding of product management practices.
  • You have experience writing data transformation and application code, particularly in Python.

Great to have:

  • You have experience or a strong interest in working with Palantir platforms.
  • You have hands-on experience with Spark and big data technologies.
  • You actively experiment with LLMs and LangChain.
  • You have a solid understanding of Agile software delivery frameworks.
  • You have experience in client-facing integration, implementation engineering, or solution architecture roles within B2B software product companies.
  • You have experience leading or contributing to projects across teams and regions.
  • You have knowledge of the Financial Services and/or Insurance industry.
