Job Title: Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner

Overview:

In this position reporting to the Director, Business Partner of O&T (operations and technology), the incumbent will work in partnership with O&T teams to optimise the Vocalink P&L through commercial management of the cost base and programme investments. Works closely with commercial finance business partners.

1. Manage the financial close activities of specific Vocalink products through the analysis of actual results vs budget, forecasts, contracts and initiatives in order to provide business driven commentary to the O&T teams and the Finance management teams.
2. Present financials and associated insights, from current performance against investment business cases.
3. Produce monthly management reporting, KPIs, Opportunities and Risks, and standardised P&Ls using Hyperion (budgeting and forecasting tool).
4. Confidently present financial results and associated insights to all business stakeholders on a monthly basis in finance reviews and Vocalink Operating & Portfolio Sub-committees.
5. Support the creation of the annual cost budgets/forecasts and load into the Hyperion reporting tool, and develop final Budget presentations to management and the Board.
6. First point of contact for tech business cases and pricing/new business bid support.
7. Work alongside the business and sourcing team to support commercial analysis, reporting and negotiation on key supplier deals.
8. Manage and consolidate the reporting and forecasting/planning for the UK O&T portfolio.
9. Deputise for Finance Manager – this is a highly visible role.
10. Ensure financial governance with projects and expenditure.
11. Support Capitalisation, Depreciation and Amortization processes.
12. Monitor the landscape of competitive products and industry trends, understand their implications for Vocalink and Mastercard from a technology perspective.
13. Ensure compliance with risk policies and foster a strong control environment to mitigate risks, liaising where necessary with the key business areas across Mastercard e.g. Controllers, Legal, Sourcing, Tax.
