Senior AML Administrator, Funds

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior AML Administrator to provide AML support, ensuring a seamless and compliant onboarding process for clients. This role involves managing AML processes, conducting due diligence, and providing regulatory guidance while supporting internal teams with training and development.

Job Duties:

1. Implement and manage AML processes, including due diligence reviews for new investors, complex structures, and periodic reviews of existing investors.
2. Provide guidance and support on regulatory and AML matters, assisting with business-related AML queries.
3. Conduct open-source searches to gather further information on prospective clients and investors.
4. Review and analyse initial and ongoing screening checks, escalating matters where necessary.
5. Collate CDD statistics and prepare AML reports for Boards and Senior Management.
6. Provide training and support to junior team members to aid their development.
7. Collaborate with internal client teams to enhance AML knowledge and awareness.
8. Contribute to improving AML processes and participate in projects to strengthen controls.
9. Undertake any other AML-related duties as required.

Job Requirements:

1. Previous experience in an AML role, ideally within financial services.
2. Professional compliance qualification.
3. Strong understanding of AML regulations, including the application of the 3 Tier Test and the JFSC AML/CFT/CPF Handbook requirements.
4. Knowledge of key risk areas and the application of enhanced due diligence.
5. Strong administrative, analytical, and organisational skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when required.
8. An inquisitive mindset with the ability to assess issues, identify implications, and make recommendations.
9. A positive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to collaborate.
