SALARY: £36,000 pro rata (depending on experience and skills) + Excellent Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Administrator / Governance and Compliance Officer with experience of producing clear and precise minutes in senior-level settings, who has excellent organisational, administration and communication skills. Working as the Senior Administrator / Governance and Compliance Officer you will support the Head of Governance and Assurance and Governance Manager to ensure excellence in corporate governance and compliance.
As the Senior Administrator / Governance and Compliance Officer you will contribute to a customer focused and highly effective governance administration service in line with the organisation’s rules and regulatory requirements.
DUTIES
- Assist with the co-ordination and arrangements for the three yearly external governance review
- Administer meetings of the Boards and Committees as required
- Produce annual timetables and forward plans for governance and senior management meetings taking into account the production of business-critical report cycles
- Support all Board administration tasks to maintain accurate and up to date information for monitoring Board, Board Member and governance-related activities
- Provide documentation, evidence, and information to senior managers for the preparation of regulatory reports and Regulator inspections
- Provide confidential research and information gathering support
- Coordinate the annual Board Member appraisal process
- Coordinate the administration of Board Member recruitment, inductions, appointments and leavers
- Provide data and other information to compile or assist with the contents of reports
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience producing clear and precise minutes in senior-level settings
- Able to Multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organisational skills are essential, particularly for coordinating complex meetings involving both internal and external delegates
- IT literacy using Microsoft Office
- Exceptional grammar, punctuation, spelling, and keyboard proficiency are required
- A commitment to clarity, accuracy, and high-quality work is crucial
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality where appropriate
