We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibly, and are able to organise and prioritise their workload along with that of their team as these roles may involve some line management responsibility. Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with members of the public. We are looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting, those with a 'can do' attitude, and importantly due to the nature of the work, people who have a flexible approach to working.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will join a friendly and supportive team within the Clinical Administration Service that values the contribution of all staff.

The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As a Senior Administrator, you will be involved in the end-to-end patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.

With a specific focus on working with our waiting list teams in the management of our elective waiting lists, you must be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care and have a flexible attitude to work and be part of a multidisciplinary team.
