Job Overview
VANRATH are excited to support a returning client, in the professional services sector who are seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join the organisation and execute the duties within the Chief Executive's office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential administrative support to the Presidential and Chief Executive Office, ensuring the smooth operation of key functions.
- Manage complex diaries, organise meetings, and coordinate events with tact and precision, handling last-minute changes with ease.
- Serve as the first point of contact, addressing queries and correspondence with professionalism and discretion.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the Chief Executive and Presidential team, including booking flights, accommodation, and creating detailed itineraries.
- Manage meeting administration, including preparing agendas, distributing papers, tracking attendance, and following up on actions.
- Support the team with protocols, policies, and procedures, maintaining high standards of service both internally and externally.
- Manage documents, ensuring that both hard and soft copies are up-to-date, well-organised, and easily accessible.
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative, responding to various tasks and challenges to help achieve organisational objectives.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C or above, including English and Maths.
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced office, supporting senior management.
- Proficient in Audio-Visual platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams).
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Experience with document management (preparing, collating, and distributing agendas).
- Skilled in handling correspondence and maintaining accurate records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing diaries/travel arrangements.
Desirable Criteria:
- A Level education or equivalent.
- Experience prioritising work in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Knowledge of software like One Advanced and OneDrive.
- Experience with audio typing or digital dictation.
- Ability to adjust work schedules to meet changing priorities.
- Experience supporting senior staff with diary management and prioritisation.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
