About You

We are hiring a Senior Administration Consultant who wants the opportunity to carve out a successful role within an award-winning and growing organisation.

Responsibilities & Criteria

As a Senior Administration Consultant, you will manage and maintain the administration aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes for the Mantle business.

You will work with the existing team to improve operational efficiency e.g., automation, full use of standard products. We want you to be a champion of change and provide opinions if you have an idea to create more efficiencies.

You will act as the main contact for an agreed list of administrative projects, such as supporting the end-to-end process of scheme installations on Mantle and resolving administrative queries from our clients. You will maintain and develop client relationships, conduct client demonstrations of our software, and build out administrative processes and accompanying documentation.

Requirements

  • Broad pension's technical knowledge, with at least ten years’ experience working in a Defined Benefit pension administration environment, with at least six of those years acting in a Senior Pensions Consultant or management role.
  • Experience across different administration businesses and pension administration platforms.
  • Experience in new process development and implementation across administration teams.
  • Experience with designing scheme implementations on an administration platform, which includes client interface and benefit setup, calculation testing and client communications.
  • Experience in managing teams and workloads.
  • You should have a detailed understanding of defined benefit pensions schemes and UK pensions legislation, regulation, and codes of practice.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to articulate and communicate current and relevant issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • The ability to perform in a fast-moving environment providing excellent service to clients and third parties with a desire to succeed at accomplishing challenging objectives.

Location: Belfast, Glasgow & Remote

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with additional hours as and when required.

All roles are subject to a six-month probationary period and all prospective employees are required to complete an Access NI check.
