Senior Actuarial Manager - Financial Reporting & Analytics (London, Permanent)

A leading London-based player in the life insurance industry seeks an experienced actuary to play a pivotal role in financial reporting and analytics.

This established insurer is looking for a qualified actuary to take ownership of financial reporting and modelling. The successful candidate will independently review and present the company's financial results while developing analytical frameworks that support key business decisions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end financial reporting under Solvency II/UK regimes

  • Review and present financial results to senior stakeholders and external auditors

  • Develop and enhance actuarial models (Excel/VBA essential)

  • Oversee assumption-setting and P&L analysis

  • Provide guidance to junior team members



Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualified actuary with life insurance reporting experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of Solvency II/Solvency UK frameworks

  • Proven experience in assumption-setting and P&L analysis

  • Confidence presenting to senior management and external auditors

  • Advanced Excel/VBA modelling skills
