Are you looking for care work in Waltham Forest that is Monday to Friday with bank holidays off and no night work?

Vibrance has exciting opportunities for a Senior Activity Worker to join our team in Waltham Forest.

You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. In return, as our Senior Activity Worker, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,558 per annum.

About Vibrance: Vibrance is a registered charity supporting adults with additional needs in London and Essex. We encourage a working environment that at its core is inclusive, pioneering, and has the highest levels of integrity.

About the Senior Activity Worker role:

Vibrance Day Services provide a community-based day service for Adults with Mild to Severe Learning Disabilities. Our clients participate in community-based activities such as swimming, bowling, bike riding, parks, cinema, Boccia, trampolining, etc.

As a Senior Activity Worker, you will support clients, empowering them to access the community meaningfully while meeting a range of physical and sensory needs.

You will need a good understanding of Microsoft Office & Teams. Supervision of staff and service planning will be part of your role. You will therefore need to demonstrate experience of working with people with learning disabilities and a good understanding of supervision, support planning, risk assessments, and evaluation of plans.

Applicants need to demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of empowerment and choice to individuals and their independence.

We particularly welcome drivers who are willing to drive Day Service vehicles on occasions. Staff have the added benefit of working office hours rather than conventional shift patterns. The timings are largely office hours Monday-Friday, but some early evening work may be required.
