Job description

Are you an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant looking for a dynamic role in a modern, fast-paced environment? We're seeking a proactive individual to provide high-level accounts administration support to our client's finance function while managing key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

This role is permanent, offering the ability to work in offices on a hybrid (3 days in office) basis, offering up to 35,000 dependent on experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-level accounts administrative support to the finance team.
  2. Manage credit control processes, ensuring timely payments.
  3. Check, verify, and approve sales invoices and credit notes.
  4. Perform sales ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  5. Manage legal proceedings related to outstanding accounts when necessary.
  6. Process monthly staff expenses and manage petty cash.
  7. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required.

What We're Looking For:
  1. Proven experience in a similar accounts administrator, accounts assistant, or finance assistant position.
  2. Hold or working towards AAT.
  3. Strong knowledge of Xero and other accountancy software.
  4. Excellent Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines.
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  7. A strong team player who can also work independently.
