Position Description:
We are currently in need of a Senior Accountant for Silversea Cruises!
Are you looking for a challenge? To be part of a well-structured, responsible, and dynamic financial team?
As a Senior Accountant, you will assist the Financial Officer in providing professional accountable financial office guest and Crew accounting, Payroll, and Crew Welfare finances, as well as help to manage onboard clearance and immigration.
As part of the role, you will train and monitor the night auditor, oversee all Fidelio postings and refunds, conduct random audits, complete all necessary reports, manage cash advances and other payroll duties, and audit office auditing concessionaires and hotel inventory.
You will also take overall responsibility for passenger and crew visa requirements and customs clearance, Payroll administration in liaison with the corporate office, cash book preparation under the supervision of the Finance Officer, cycle counts of marine and F&B inventories onboard in liaison with the Superintendent and corporate office, and assist the Financial Officer in voyage close tasks and MXP preparation.
To be considered for this role, you will require a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, as well as three (3) to four (4) years of accounting experience, preferably with an internal control systematic approach and compliance orientation.
