Fully office based

Our client is looking for a proactive and committed Senior Accountant to join their welcoming team in Huddersfield on a full-time basis. Offering accounting services to clients in various industries. The role involves:

1. Preparing statutory year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
2. Strong knowledge of personal and corporate taxation across all areas.
3. Communicating with clients about their accounts, tax returns, and any other related matters.
4. Reviewing the work of junior staff and ensuring completion for clients.
5. Managing management accounts.
6. Handling a portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns annually.
7. Addressing client queries via phone and email.

We are looking for candidates who:

1. Are fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience)
2. Have a solid knowledge across accountancy services with the ability to independently prepare a set of accounts
3. Experience of working in UK chartered practice.
