Senior Accountant Job Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of managing client portfolios, which is a mixture of small to medium-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Your daily role will include:

1. Supervising junior staff, reviewing their work, and making any necessary adjustments.
2. Providing strategic financial advice to your dedicated portfolio.
3. Preparing and reviewing financial statements to the highest standards.
4. Preparing self-assessment tax returns.
5. Advising and assisting clients with cloud-based bookkeeping software.
6. Mentoring and developing junior members of staff.

Senior Accountant Job Requirements

1. ACA / ACCA finalist or qualified.
2. 5 years + experience in a UK accountancy firm.
3. Proven expertise in accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software.

Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

£32,000 - £40,000 dependant on skills and experience
25 days + bank holidays
