An established industry player is seeking two Senior Accountants to join a dynamic Finance Team. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of statutory financial statements and Treasury Management, while managing the fixed asset register. Candidates should be AAT qualified or part CCAB qualified, with a strong foundation in technical accounting and problem-solving skills. To support all of the exciting work we pride ourselves in having strong corporate functions. The Finance Team is at the heart of the organisation, playing a vital role in achieving this, and we're now looking for 2 individuals to join our Team as Senior Accountants, specifically supporting our Corporate Finance and technical accounting.
The posts will support the delivery of the Councils statutory financial statements, Treasury Management, manage the fixed asset register and provide technical accounting and taxation advice to the Council. It will involve working closely with strategic finance professionals and the external auditor and will maximise the benefit of the Unit4 system.
