Job description

This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.

JOB PURPOSE

Senior Account Managers lead on all the work we deliver for specific clients. We don’t believe in siloed teams – content, technology, media and data overlap in all roles and will work across all four disciplines.

Working on projects end to end, Account Managers develop the strategy for the brands they lead and oversee day-to-day delivery of that strategy. They will represent Dept to our clients, adding value to relationships beyond organisational skills – we want a mixture of an account manager and a planner, not your typical suit.

You will have the chance to help define and shape the digital strategy for exciting brands. You will be leading a team that delivers compelling content, innovation and media planning across key European markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Motivate and inspire your team
  2. Develop annual strategies, identifying priorities for the year
  3. Oversee, project manage and work with teams to develop brilliant digital content (creative, production)
  4. Manage deliverables from across the business (content, technology, media, data)
  5. Ensure delivery of work is to the highest possible standard
  6. Ensure constant innovation across all deliverables
  7. Contribute to our creative process by sharing your ideas and experience
  8. Manage budgets for campaigns and always-on activity
  9. Manage client budgeting
  10. Manage relationships with platforms and partners
  11. Present work internally and externally
  12. Complete work to deadline and often under pressure

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Extensive experience in roles involving account management and strategic planning within digital / social platforms
  2. Experience managing complex campaigns (experience in paid social preferred)
  3. Experience working on a global brand
  4. Confident with both brand and conversion/direct-response campaigns
  5. Experience leading, motivating and coaching team members
  6. Strong client relationship management skills
  7. Brilliant written and verbal English communication skills
  8. Advanced problem-solving skills
  9. Excellent organisational / time management skills and high attention to detail
  10. Excellent presentation skills
  11. Strong creative skills
  12. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  13. Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment
  14. Ability to remain focused under pressure and work under tight deadlines
  15. Proficient in working with data
