We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to lead and grow our government sector portfolio, including PFI contracts and government agencies across England. This role is pivotal in fostering long-term client relationships, driving profitable growth, and ensuring excellence in service delivery.
As the key strategic interface between Sodexo and client organisations, you will oversee account development, implement business strategies, and lead teams to deliver outstanding results. You will also play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities and ensuring seamless contract management.
Client & Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and value.
Implement business strategies aligned with evolving client needs.
Proactively manage client expectations and deliver best-in-class service.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Lead teams across multiple sites, ensuring service excellence and compliance.
Drive performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food safety standards.
Promote continuous improvement and innovation across all services.
Financial & Business Growth
Monitor and manage financial performance, ensuring budgets and profitability targets are met.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to enhance revenue streams.
Contribute to strategic growth plans and contract expansion.Leadership & People Development
Lead, develop, and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
Drive employee engagement and champion best HR practices.
Recruit, train, and manage performance across multiple locations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a senior management role within Facilities Management (FM).
Strong leadership & people management skills, including HR best practices.
Exceptional numerical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in managing complex client portfolios across multiple sites.
Business acumen with a proven track record of driving financial performance.
Sound knowledge of health & safety, food safety, and risk management.
Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Experience working within a PFI environment.
Business Management qualifications or relevant experience.
HSWA, IOSH, COSHH, or CIEH Level 3 Food Safety qualifications.
Non-frontline security license.
Lead high-profile contracts in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
