Key Role Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the private sector.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships, increasing spend and expanding service offerings.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle, from discovery and consultation to negotiation and close.
  • Develop and present tailored IT solutions, leveraging the support of pre-sales and technical experts.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and leverage networks to generate high-quality leads.
  • Deliver compelling client presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and competitor offerings to refine sales strategy.

Key Attributes Required

  • Minimum 2 years of IT sales experience, ideally within a value-added reseller, distributor, or vendor environment.
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Confident in prospecting, networking, and relationship management.
  • Experience with solution selling and tailoring proposals to meet complex client requirements.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Based within commutable distance of Reading or Leatherhead, with the ability to work from either location up to 3 days per week.
