Role

About the role…

We are looking for a committed and motivated client service team member with significant experience in the healthcare agency environment to join our friendly and dedicated team.

In this role, you will be the day-to-day point of contact for our clients, ensuring that campaigns run on schedule, within budget, and to a standard that exceeds expectations.

You’ll bring strong interpersonal and project management skills to ensure that projects progress smoothly. Working closely with our wider team, you’ll have the support needed to effectively manage multi-faceted projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Taking the lead on client briefs, acting as the primary point of contact, and fostering positive and productive relationships.
  2. Beyond operational excellence, you will have the ability to influence and implement longer-term brand strategy, formulate insights, understand client needs, and communicate these to relevant teams in an engaging way.
  3. Managing projects efficiently to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations.
  4. Proofreading work with a meticulous eye for detail.
  5. Potential involvement in pharmacovigilance monitoring, recording, and reporting for a range of clients.
  6. Having a well-rounded understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing industry, with a passion for different marketing disciplines reflected in your work.
  7. Managing client budgets, providing regular updates, tracking POs, and controlling external costs.
  8. Adhering to deadlines and proactively flagging any potential issues in advance.
  9. Completing daily timesheets via EASL.
About the person…
  1. Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager or Account Director within a medical communications agency.
  2. Ability to define and execute client strategy, manage relationships, and drive successful outcomes.
  3. Leading client meetings to influence marketing strategy and drive agenda.
  4. Strong presentation and influencing skills.
  5. Experience in assessing and presenting creative work, both from a strategic and emotional perspective.
  6. Digital expertise across a range of platforms and channels.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
  8. A relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Biosciences, Marketing, Communications, Advertising) or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
  9. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  10. Ability to adapt, take initiative, and manage workload effectively.
  11. A growth mindset with a desire for continuous development.
