YOUR MISSION
We are seeking our first UK native Senior Account Executive to sustain our growth in the United Kingdom. We aim to significantly increase our revenue in the UK, building on the foundation established by our French team in the world's second-largest private equity market.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will focus on developing POTLOC's UK-based customer portfolio, with an emphasis on the Private Equity market. Your role will involve managing and expanding client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tailored solutions to help them achieve their objectives.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and contribute to achieving the company's revenue targets.
• Territories targeted: The United Kingdom and Ireland
• Industries targeted: Investment funds
• Interlocutors: C-Level Accounts Types: Private Equity (Growth & Buyout) and Hedge Funds
• Revenue Types: Hunting, Farming, Repeat Business, Cross-Selling, and Upselling
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop trusted, long-term partnerships with private equity clients and prospects, delivering tailored solutions.
• Drive Growth: Identify and pursue global opportunities in private equity to expand accounts and win new business. Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the company’s value proposition, negotiate terms, and close deals while addressing client concerns effectively.
• Manage the Sales Cycle: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the private equity sector, targeting both existing accounts and new logos globally. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Sales Engineers, Sampling, etc.) to align on client objectives and deliver exceptional solutions.
• Manage customer activity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. We use HubSpot.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 4-6 years of sales experience in a fast-growing company within the data, survey industry
• Experience selling to C-levels in the Private Equity or Consulting fields is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of strategy consulting and/or private equity
• You are ambitious and want to join a growing team! We grow fast and offer multiple opportunities to go to the next level.
• Proven track record of converting net new business and quota overachievement.
• Strong executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A rigorous salesperson with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Analytical, adept at quickly defining, aligning, and scaling data modeling & management approaches with client needs.
• The ability to speak French is an asset.
• We are looking for candidates located in the London area.
