Meet the team

Their Vendor Sales team is at the heart of their mission to revolutionize the global food system. They are responsible for digitizing food service distributors with technology that helps them run more profitable and less wasteful businesses. They help connect suppliers with their network of clients including restaurants, retailers, and group caterers.

As a Senior Account Executive within this vibrant ecosystem, you will be a key player in establishing and expanding their impact in the industry. To secure deals with food service distributors, you will work with a team of Account Executives, Growth Managers, and Implementation Specialists. You are at the heart of change in the food service industry as you cultivate valuable relationships with distributors. Your efforts, combined with the company’s tools, will change the whole food industry.

What you will do

  • You will take full ownership of closing commercial deals with distributor partners, from the first touchpoint to the signed contract.
  • Go out in the field and negotiate with CEOs of multi-million companies and family-run businesses that have no experience with technology.
  • Craft and nurture connections with prospective customers via cold outreach, referrals, walk-ins to food markets, and previous relationships. You will demo their solutions live to suppliers, creating importance and urgency in the first meetings.
  • Your role goes beyond hitting targets; it’s about making a tangible impact in the industry, driving innovation and setting new benchmarks for success.
  • You will work with cutting-edge technology like AI solutions, educating key decision makers at suppliers and presenting the value these technologies can provide to their business.
  • Create long-lasting relationships with distributors that will stand the test of time. You will create win-win scenarios. Your ability to close deals will create valuable partnerships.
  • Think outside of the box and present new ideas, processes, and opportunities that exceed customer expectations and create a best-in-class experience.

The ideal candidate

  • You are fluent in English.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in the food service industry, ideally selling to food service distributors.
  • Established network of food service distributors.
  • Digital-first and eager to learn about digital products and technology companies.
  • Hungry sales mentality yet thinking long term.
  • Proven track record of being a top performer in competitive teams.
  • Humble and team-first.
