Job description

Tomorrow is honoured to be representing this highly acclaimed artist studio in their search for a Senior 3D Production Manager/ Head of Production. This studio creates complex sculptures and installations and is looking for a Production specialist with experience within the art/ sculpture space.

From a technical perspective, you will be proficient in 3D modelling software Rhino ideally alongside knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials and structural engineering.

Working in this team, you'll be responsible for technical assessments, QA, production planning and internal team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You'll lead by example, continuing to create an inclusive, creative environment.
  • At this level of seniority, you'll bring forward suggestions for suppliers, freelancers, technicians, etc.
  • You'll have excellent knowledge of materials and the production process in this line of work; conducting precise testing and evaluations to ensure all materials are of the highest, most sustainable quality available.
  • Collaborating closely with the Artist, you'll craft comprehensive production plans that align with their strategic vision, aligning processes internally to ensure everything is executed to the highest standard.
  • As Senior, you'll be able to make informed, strategic suggestions to improve internal systems and improve overall efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:

To be considered, you'll need prior experience at a senior level working within a production or project management role, in either the arts, engineering or design space. You'll have managed the production and installation of long-term projects, understanding the nuances and nature of this line of work. Attention to detail is key, as is an understanding and deep respect for the craft at hand.
