SEND Business Support Officer

£160 per day

3-6 month initial contract

Fully remote working

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Business Support Officer for our local authority client in North West England.

The SEND Business Support Officer will support colleagues across the SEND & Inclusion Service Team, providing administrative support to case officers working in the SEND inclusion services.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the statutory and regulatory aspects of SEND and the EHCP process.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Able to proactively manage workload and accommodate changing priorities where necessary.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the smooth running of the team and take a proactive role in the day-to-day functioning of the service.
  • Support case officers by performing various administrative tasks relating to the statutory process for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Ensure all records are kept up to date and accurate, correcting any errors to maintain a high standard of data quality.

Skills required:

  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and ensure efficient running of the office.
  • Coordination skills when arranging appointments with the ability to accurately document meetings and proactively track action items.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with people at all levels.
