Job description

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on young lives? Do you have experience working within an SEN environment & are looking for a new challenge?

TP-Tutors is on the lookout for tutors with SEN experience in Barnet. As a tutor, you’ll be designing and delivering catch-up programs for young learners in either 1:1 settings or small groups.

We’ve seen a surge in demand for tuition, particularly to support students preparing for their GCSEs. We need specialists in core subjects as well as those who can cater to KS1 and KS2 pupils, so your expertise is welcome, whatever your background!

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent
  • Experience with primary or secondary-aged children
  • Enthusiasm, engagement, and resilience
  • Understanding & experience within Special Educational Needs (SEN)

  • Have experience in 1:1 tuition
  • Are skilled at managing challenging behaviours
