A dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Slough is seeking a warm and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis starting in January. The school caters to children with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, complex learning difficulties, and lower cognitive abilities. If you are empathetic, adaptable, and ready to take on a challenge, this role could be a great fit.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support for students. Your daily responsibilities will include:
While experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is beneficial, it’s not essential. This experience can be professional, such as volunteering or working in a similar environment, or personal, such as supporting a family member with additional needs. A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field would also be advantageous, but enthusiasm and a desire to help are what matter most!

Position Details:

* Pay Rate: £83 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, qualifications, and training)
* Contract: Long-term temporary, with potential for a permanent position
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)
* Experience: Not essential, but previous experience and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
