SEN TA

We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN provision, supporting students who require additional guidance to engage with learning. This is a full-time term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:00, and is anticipated to last until the end of the academic year.

The Role

1. Supporting students with SEN needs, helping them to engage with lessons and develop positive coping strategies.
2. Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a structured and supportive environment.
3. Using de-escalation techniques and a positive approach to behaviour management.
4. Building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their potential.

Requirements:

1. A Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role.
2. A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. A genuine passion for supporting young people.
