Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Full-time/Part-time options available

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support children with a range of special needs, including physical, emotional, and learning difficulties.
  2. Provide one-on-one or small group support in the classroom.
  3. Assist with personal care, if required.
  4. Help create an inclusive, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
  5. Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  6. Promote the emotional and social development of students.
Key Requirements:
  1. A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with children.
  2. Experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Patience, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
  5. A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential.
