SEN Teaching Assistant

CAMHS Professionals are actively recruiting for special need schools for pupils ranging from KS1-KS4. The main needs are Autism with most non-verbal.

About the position:

Working with Special Needs children would mean that you would be supporting the children more so with different aspects of learning. This could include behaviour issues, self-expression, sensory work, reading and writing, and life skills.

Applicant Requirements:

• Passion to work with children with SEND/additional needs
• Calm, reliable and resilient
• Experience working with SEN, such as SEMH, ASD, behavioural management, trauma, ADHD, PTSD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory processing
• MAPA or Team Teach training is desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Ideally working in a school setting
• Experience working in the UK is a must

• Monday to Friday
• Hours: 08.30 – 15.30
