SEN Teaching and Learning Support Assistant – Leatherhead, Education and Training
Secondary/post 16 learning centre for young people with ASD/SEMH is looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching and Learning Support Assistant based near Leatherhead. This is a new school that is part of an already established group of schools that has a proven track record of providing outstanding levels of education to SEN students. With that in mind, it’s a really exciting time to join. The school has close links with other schools in the community and it forms part of a larger group of specialist school settings. Due to the age of the students, there is a key focus on developing life skills that the students will need once they have completed their education at post 16.
Purpose of a SEN Teaching and Learning Support Assistant
You will be required to provide support to the children with their learning and care whilst in school and other settings. The successful applicant will offer a tailored approach to individual children, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.
Hours and salary for a SEN Teaching and Learning Support Assistant - Leatherhead
* 40 hours per week, term time only, 8.30am-4.30pm, flexibility is essential and you are required to work till 5pm one day a week for staff education and training meetings.
* This is a permanent role. The actual salary is £17,865-£21,163 – depending on experience.
