Do you have the experience and skill set for the role of a SEN TA? This amazing opportunity has arrived and will require you to have a unique skill set and to be passionate and hard-working. We are looking for SEN TA's who are wanting to make a positive difference to children's lives every day.

Here at Career Teachers, we are working with several primary schools in Sheffield who are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic, and committed SEN TA's to join them on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis.

To be considered for this role you will need to:

• Have patience as SEN pupils are likely to take longer than other pupils to understand something or complete a task.
• Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, in particular EBD, SEMH, or ADHD.
• Hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service.
• Have excellent verbal and written skills.
• Have previous experience working in a similar role within a mainstream primary school setting.
• Be confident in managing challenging behaviours.
• Be adaptable and nurturing with a positive demeanour.
• Have the ability to maintain effective and trusting relationships.
• Always remain positive and give plenty of praise.
