Job Title: SEN Teacher (Complex Needs - KS4)
Contract: Part-Time (3 days per week)
Location: Crowborough
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
Start Date: After Easter

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs?

Masterclass are working with a superb SEN 6th Form who are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their supportive team, working with Key Stage 4 students with a range of complex learning, communication, and behavioural needs. This is a part-time role (3 days a week), ideal for a professional looking for a flexible position with high impact.

The Role:

  1. Plan and deliver tailored lessons to KS4 students with EHCPs and a variety of complex needs.
  2. Develop and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.
  3. Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence.
  4. Work closely with TAs, therapists, and families to support holistic development.
  5. Track progress and contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings.

The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN/complex needs education.
  2. Proven track record of teaching in a specialist or inclusive setting.
  3. Strong knowledge of ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and/or SLD (Desirable).
  4. Patient, resilient, and creative with excellent communication skills.
  5. Able to build trusting relationships and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Must have:
  1. Ability to work well independently and as a team.
  2. Has a passion to support and empower children and young people.
  3. A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one.
  4. Commitment to safeguarding students and young people.
