Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded School Trust that specializes in providing outstanding education for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They are seeking a dedicated SEN Secondary Teacher to join their team and support students in reaching their full potential.

As an SEN Secondary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young lives, providing an engaging and structured learning environment tailored to individual needs. While challenges are part of the journey, every small breakthrough-whether it's a student actively participating in a lesson or gaining confidence in their abilities-adds up to something truly meaningful.

You will be supported by a team of specialist teaching assistants, therapists, and in-house psychologists, ensuring you have the resources and collaboration needed to provide the best education possible.

This role is based in Walsall, a brand-new, purpose-built specialist school designed to support up to 72 students aged 8-16. The school provides a high-quality learning environment, focusing on SEMH needs and autism, with modern facilities and a commitment to individualized student progress.

This School Trust offers an excellent salary and benefits package, including:

  1. Comprehensive training - Full induction and ongoing professional development
  2. School holidays off - A well-deserved break to recharge
  3. Career progression - Many leadership roles are filled from within
  4. Flexible benefits - Options to adjust life insurance and other perks
  5. Pension options - Choose from the Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS) or other attractive alternatives
  6. High-quality working environment - State-of-the-art facilities designed for SEND education
  7. Refer-a-friend bonus - Earn £1,000 for every successful referral

If you're passionate about making a difference in SEND education, send your CV to Scott.Styles@teachingpersonnel.com or call 0161 200 8501 to discuss the role further.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ's on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
