We're Hiring: SEN Teacher - Join Our Fantastic Team in Medway!


Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity? We are currently working with a fantastic school in Medway, offering excellent SEN facilities such as swimming pools, sensory rooms, a sensory garden, and designated classrooms for pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and complex needs. The school is looking for a dedicated and approachable SEN Teacher to start in April 2025.

Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

Some pupils may require personal care as part of their daily routine due to their severe learning difficulties and complex needs.

  2. Are you comfortable providing personal care as part of the support for students with complex needs?
  3. Do you have a passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment?
  4. Do you have a strong understanding of how children with SEN learn and develop?
  5. Are you a proactive, adaptable, and compassionate educator ready to join a dedicated team?

Role Overview:

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  1. Create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment tailored to the specific needs of the pupils.
  2. Deliver personalized and creative lessons to support the development of children with SEN.
  3. Work closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure each child's individual needs are met.
  4. Provide personal care for pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs as required.
  5. Foster a positive and respectful relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
  6. Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's ethos and values.
