Job description

Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Bexley
Pay: GBP160 to GBP210 per day (via PAYE)

Vision for Education is working in partnership with an expanding all-through school in Bexley to recruit a SEN Teacher to work with pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties. We are seeking a dedicated, caring and compassionate Teacher who is keen to nurture children with SLD.

Knowledge and experience of working with children with SEN is essential, and you must be able to create strong professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

The Role

  • Establish a safe and stimulating environment for pupils where children feel confident and comfortable to work to the best of their ability.
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with a wide range of SEND.
  • Recognise that each child is unique and adapt teaching styles appropriately to facilitate effective learning experiences.
  • Highlight and celebrate each individual pupil's achievements and inform pupils how they can improve further.
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently as part of a multi-agency approach.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in an educational setting.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
