Job description

KS3 SEND Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Salary: £37,000 - £54,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (Full time, Temp to perm)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with moderate learning difficulties (MLD)? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our dynamic team at a specialist SEND school in Tower Hamlets, East London.

The Role

This rewarding role involves leading a KS3 MLD class, with the opportunity to also teach English and PSHE to small groups across the school. You will be supported with medium-term planning but will be responsible for lesson preparation tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.


Your Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire and motivate students with MLD.
  2. Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment that encourages personal and academic growth.
  3. Collaborate with a skilled team of professionals to ensure every student receives a holistic education.
  4. Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support individual learning goals.
