Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30

Contract:

Permanent, Term Time only

About the role

As an SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils’ achievement and ability to develop. This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Qualifications:

  1. QTS or Qualified Teacher Learning
  2. Nationally recognised degree

Our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge located in Dibden, Southampton has a capacity for 40 pupils catering for autistic young people aged 4 – 11. For over 16 years, Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
